Greater Good Academy: Adopt a triple bottom line for your business!
Looking to integrate triple bottom line prinicples into your business?
This workshop series can help you become more environmentally and socially responsible.
The Greater Good Academy is an 8-week business development program to train Denver low- and moderate-income entrepreneurs in how to use sustainable and triple bottom line business practices to become more profitable.
We'll emphasize the benefits of including environmental and social factors in how you run your business. The program takes place at the Mi Casa Resource Center (360 Acoma Street) on Tuesday evenings (6:00 to 9:00 p.m) from April 20th to June 8th, and will culminate on June 22nd with a public showcase involving business, civic, and government leaders. A network of mentors will assist the participants during the program.
Workshops include:
- The Business Case for Triple Bottom Line
- Making a Profit While Doing Good
- Going Green: Reducing Your Environmental Impact
- Engaging with the Community
The Project in a Nutshell
The goal of the Greater Good Academy is to help build the next generation of civic-minded businesses with increased self-sufficiency as well as encourage green economic development throughout Denver's underserved communities.
Cost-prohibitive? Not in the least!
Through the support of our financial sponsors, including Denver's Office of Economic Development, tuition is only $100 to qualified entrepreneurs. Such subsidies make this program an extremely good deal; one you'll not find anywhere else!
