Buy Local Week - Merchants Info Meeting

The Mile High Business Alliance will host the Buy Local Week holiday shopping campaign for the fourth year in 2010. Last year's Buy Local Week campaign generated lots of great media for local businesses, and we expect nothing less as we continue to educate our community about the vital role that local businesses play in building resilient, connected and healthy economies. We know that Buy Local campaigns do impact the way our neighbors shop. And since a dollar spent at a local business recirculates at least three more times before leaving, our campaign helps generate more local economic activity, even during these challenging times.

This year, we'd like to work with more merchant groups and business districts to ensure the campaign has a positive, lasting impact. Therefore, we've scheduled an information meeting for merchant groups & business districts at which you'll have an opportunity to:

learn more about this year's campaign and how to participate
coordinate holiday season events with other Denver merchants and the Mile High Business Alliance
ensure that this year's campaign helps your business and business district

The more we work together to share the "Buy Local First" message, the more Denverites we'll be able to reach, and the bigger economic impact we'll have. The Mile High Business Alliance hopes to help coordinate your efforts and present a unified and active campaign this holiday season.
