The Denver Office of Economic Development (OED) works to create a local environment that stimulates balanced economic growth through job creation, business assistance, housing options and neighborhood redevelopment.  In the fall of 2008, following the DNC, OED will be launching a green business program, to provide resources for evaluating and reducing your company's energy needs.  We also plan on consolidating your results with other Denver businesses and then recognizing and promoting your "green" success.  More information can be found at www.milehigh.com/business/sustainable/Greenbiz”

Colorado Enterprise Fund (CEF) is a non-profit business loan program founded in 1976 for the purpose of community and economic development. CEF's mission is to foster economic opportunity by providing small businesses and entrepreneurs with business loans and technical assistance. CEF has provided loans to over 800 businesses that were not able to obtain adequate bank financing. CEF supports its borrowers with business counseling and technical assistance to ensure loan repayment and business success. CEF has won numerous awards for its program excellence. Colorado Enterprise Fund serves businesses throughout the State of Colorado.  Businesses can access the loan application online at www.coloradoenterprisefund.org.
