New Venture to Catalyze Investment in Boulder County Food and Farming

Enterprises through Joint Ventures and Slow Money Investments

Launching during EAT LOCAL! Week as a for-profit initiative of Transition Colorado, Localization Partners LLC is dedicating its first $1.5 million in funding to catalyze investment in local farms, food sourcing, production, distribution, and “foodshed” infrastructure in Boulder County.

I absolutely love it when local governments openly support local business. From the August declaration of Colorado Proud Month to government purchasing preferences being given to local contractors, institutions everywhere are refocusing their energy.
